Zero Suicide

Safer care for those at risk of suicide

Zero Suicide is a Transformational Framework for Health and Behavioral Health Care Systems. This project is dedicated to reducing suicide rates in rural and underserved counties.

Through the adoption of the Zero Suicide Model of Care, the initiative focuses on prevention, training, early identification of at-risk individuals, and the provision of comprehensive care for adults. Through collaboration with local communities, healthcare providers, and organizations, we aim to ensure that all individuals in Alabama, irrespective of their circumstances or location, have access to essential resources and support during periods of crisis or when experiencing thoughts of suicide.
