Introduction

Many Americans spend a large amount of their waking hours at work. This means that the time they spend at work directly influences a person’s well-being more than many other things. While organizations may be motivated to improve their workplace environment, they may not understand all potential factors that can improve or worsen employees’ well-being. This toolkit serves as an introduction to understanding the relationship between the workplace and employee well-being.
