  • Alabama Department of Mental Health

    The Alabama Department of Mental Health serves more than 200,000 Alabama citizens with mental illnesses, developmental disabilities, and substance use disorders. Their mission is to Serve, Empower, and Support, and promote the health and well-being of Alabamians.

  • Alabama Department of Public Health

    The Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH) is the primary state agency for regulating and overseeing issues relating to the health of Alabama’s citizens. Its mission is to promote, protect, and improve the health of individuals and communities in Alabama. The ADPH is composed of a number of issue-specific bureaus covering a variety of public health issues, including immunizations, emergency preparedness, injury prevention, radiation control, and prescription drug monitoring. The department operates under the principle that everyone deserves access to quality health care and information.

  • Alabama Association of Christian Recovery Ministries

    AACRM partners with and serves as a resource for Christian recovery ministries through sharing best practices, standards and accountability.

  • Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services

    Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services provides a Traumatic Brain Injury Program for Children from birth to age 21 (Children’s Rehabilitation Services) and Adults (TBI Program, Pre-Vocational, Vocational Rehabilitation). Traumatic Brain Injury Care Coordinators/Counselors who are specially trained in Traumatic Brain Injury coordinate with each individual and family who are eligible to provide services to return to independence, school, employment and/or community. Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services also coordinates the Alabama Head and Spinal Cord Trauma Registry, the Alabama Head Injury Task Force and the Alabama Head and Spinal Cord Injury Trust Fund.

  • Connect Alabama Mobile Application

    The Connect Alabama app is a convenient resource for up-to-date information and services related to behavioral health for all individuals seeking help and those working to help others, including friends and family members. In addition to providing treatment services information, the app provides immediate and easy access to hotlines and helplines for suicide, domestic violence, abuse, and other services.

    Connect Alabama will work in rural areas or situations where there is limited or no access to data or internet due to built-in information available. The app automatically updates when internet/Wi-Fi becomes available to ensure the latest information. A toolkit is available for download, including resources and training videos, to help professionals share the Connect Alabama app.

    The Medical Association of the State of Alabama is the professional association for some 7,000 physicians of all specialties throughout Alabama. The association exists to serve, lead and unite physicians in promoting the highest quality of health care for the people of Alabama through advocacy, information and education.

    People Engaged In Recovery’s (PEIR) mission is to advocate, empower, and collaborate with any individual seeking recovery from substance use disorder.
