VitAL On-Demand delivers exceptional, evidence-based courses in an accessible and convenient format. Drawing upon the expertise of subject matter experts, these courses enable physicians and other health care professionals to expand their skills and knowledge, while earning continuing medical education credits online. As a participant, you benefit from engaging content in a convenient web-based format—one that delivers learning at a time and place that best meets the demands of your busy professional and personal life.
Why Learn With Vital On-Demand?
VitAL On-Demand’s educational lineup addresses current topics for engaging individuals who misuse substances and focuses specifically on the state of Alabama. Each course offers an asynchronous format so you are able to start at anytime. Each course should take no more than one hour to complete. Once you enroll in a course, you will have seven days to complete and will earn one continuing education credit for each course completed.

The Adolescent Crisis Response & Behavioral Health Summit brings together professionals across Alabama to strengthen how we respond to youth in crisis. This one-day training focuses on practical strategies, cross-system collaboration, and improving access to care for adolescents experiencing behavioral health and substance use challenges. Participants will gain tools to better navigate crisis response, intervention, and referral pathways. Join us to build a more coordinated and effective approach to supporting youth.

VitAL is pleased to announce the Second Annual Justice and Substance Use Alabama Summit. This statewide event will be hosted in four locations across Alabama, providing accessible opportunities for participants to engage in a full day of education focused on the intersection of the justice system and substance use. Featured speakers will share their professional expertise and personal experiences within the justice system, as well as in substance use treatment and recovery support. We look forward to welcoming attendees in Huntsville, Birmingham, Prattville, and Mobile.
